In first grade, Mrs. Cooper's class at Oakview Elementary, she would always play a game with the class similar to hide and seek. A classmate would hide a toy (I believe it was a leprechaun) while the rest of us would put ur heads down and waited.
Once it was hidden, we had to find it.
This was magical because I always wanted to be either the one hiding it, or the one to find it. This seemed exciting and made me feel like I was a detective who could solve anything.
Was I ever the one hiding it or did I ever find it? I can't remember, but this game and activity in the classroom alone, was so much fun and sticks vivid in my mind.
