- Kicked things off by celebrating 20 years of marriage with a family trip to Hawaii. Pro tip: Nothing strengthens a marriage like watching your kids bicker in paradise. ๐ด
- Had the honor of working with some incredible clients, helping to launch products that were as wild and fun as they were successful. ๐
- Witnessed, without a doubt, the worst code Iโve ever seen in my 25+ years in software. Seriously, it deserves a museum exhibit under โWhat Not to Do.โ ๐ป
- Watched my oldest son earn his A-EMT cert and join Lehi Fire. Proud moment, though now Iโm waiting for him to lecture me about first aid at every BBQ. ๐๐ฅ
- Cheered as my daughter crushed it on the soccer field, inching closer to her college ambitions. Proud and terrified, because tuition isnโt free. โฝ๐ฐ
- Braved more gymnastics meets as my other daughter leveled up. I love her to death, but someone explain how sitting on a hard bench for four hours to see 90 seconds of her routine is a thing. ๐คธโโ๏ธ
- Laughed endlessly as my youngest son kept building his VR game and dropping the kind of one-liners that make you question everything about the world. ๐ฎ๐
Iโve been working with a team that has been growing like crazy, breaking molds, and redefining the gameโall the startup buzzwords, minus the fluff and with actual funding ($MM), revenue, and filling a huge need that is actually being used and chased.
Believe it or not, we execute on product ideas we bring to the tableโideas that solve problems and create value. You know... build! It's a rocketship that's already left earth. So proud to be here. ๐
We got out of the Tesla game while it was declining, grabbed a 3rd Jeep (yes, I knowโbarf), and I am still always working on my cars. The 66 Chevelle is holding steady (but no heater, so not driving it in winter, ever), and the 69 C10 project hopefully picks back up ๐ป
Bonus project coming late 2025: a 68 Camaro or 72 blazer (why did I sell the 76?!). My sons and I will be building a supercharged big block soon.๐ง
I was boxing for about 3 years, but since the accident, I've taken a bit of an on-off break. I don't want to risk another brain injury so I focus on bag work, not sparring. Best thing on earth ๐ฅ
We have made some incredible new friends (and neighbors), and enjoy having regular get togethers and game nights with them.
