Our favorite time of the week at home is when my son returns after working two days at the fire station here in Lehi (2 on, 4 off).
Hearing his stories brings smiles to my wife’s and my faces.I hope you never have to meet him, because if you do, it means you’re in a tough situation. But trust me, he’s got you covered.
Nearly a year ago around this time, I visited and thanked the first responders who not only saved my life ( STORY TIME) <– My son is there for others like these responders were for me) , but their quick actions and response is why I’m back here today (neurologists and doctors words, not mine).
I’m so grateful to them and what was done to help. They didn’t recognize me because I wasn’t bleeding and face planted into a pile of rocks lol :) when one paramedic saw my necklaces, she instantly remembered everything.
My son has since been able to meet them and work with them.
